Yoga is an ancient science of health
for the physical body and balance for the mind that
provides a foundation to self knowledge. It is a distinctive
and individual journey to unveiling the true self.
In Sanskrit yoga literally means "union" or "to yoke
or harness" as in yoking with and uniting the mind
and body.
As a nationally certified yogini,
I guide my clients through specific asanas (postures)
to awaken the various facets of the human body, mind
and spirit in order to purify, cleanse and realign
the subtle energy known as prana or qi that pervades
our living being.
Many of us suffer from physical and
emotional imbalances that are a result of our surrounding
environment. The impact is huge yet many of us overlook
the significance between our space and our health.
This direct correlation is what can throw our inner
prana or qi off balance resulting in physical and
emotional challenges. Body Space Alignment is the
practice of aligning one's space with the body. Many
times any infractions to the external and internal
environment will show up as health infractions in
the human body. By rectifying the surrounding environment
through the principles of feng shui and opening up
the pathways of internal qi or prana within the human
body through specific yoga practices, the healing
process begins, realignment takes hold, and health
returns.
Yoga therapy practices can be booked
privately and in conjunction with feng shui assessments.
Each yoga alignment session is a series of asanas
(postures) pertaining to health challenges.
Private yoga sessions are also available.
Groups are welcomed.
